Before I have experience worked at a big tech, I thought It’s all the same. especially as a designer. But no, admit it. NO.

They have more neat workflow, higher pressure whether on the application test and at work and in most cases more workload too. They have more access to learn. They are able to hire people who have worked at any big tech in this world so other employees can learn from them and yadii yadaa…that’s why I recommend you to learn from them (those who work at big tech).

I don’t really like it to say this, but it seems like there was a wall in front of me that has opened so my eyes has opened too when I enter the big tech and I’ve been there only for a year. Even after I have work experiences for more than 8 years at that time (but with very low design maturity companies since I mostly live and work in Bandung).

And I know some other big techs in Indonesia, even have much higher design maturity level. Such as Gojek, I believe that.
