Super lazy Designer

  • Unwilling to learn English (for non-native speakers).
  • Doesn’t have a portfolio, nor makes an effort to polish it. Their past experiences and networking are also lacking.
  • Relies on others—especially empathetic mentors—to get a job quietly, by asking which job the mentor got easily. They may even mention the mentor’s name when applying. However, in reality, the mentor got the job through experience, not because it was “easy.”
  • Not genuinely interested in a specific field, but highly motivated by the potential income. They are not willing to dive deep into learning the field. Instead, they try to get opportunities without gaining proper knowledge.
  • Not interested in public speaking or becoming a mentor, yet still very interested in the money associated with those roles—without the effort to improve in the field.
  • Has a strong desire for money, but lacks commitment to the learning phase.
  • Has trouble with job interviews—not about being rejected/accepted, but feels unable to prepare for or face them.
  • Takes advantage of kind mentors who work hard. They are more interested in what the mentor has (such as networks or past connections), rather than what the mentor knows or how they do things.
  • Always seeking help from others instead of offering help, especially when it comes to job opportunities.
  • The first question is about salary—even before they have the experience to justify it. Never asks “how do I grow?” or “what should I learn?”
